About
Aid vocabulary, taught one term at a time.
Our story
Semestelo is written like the handout a good tutor gives you at the end of the first session: short, in order, and with the vocabulary you will need next week.
We stick to how aid is generally organized in the United States and point you to StudentAid.gov and your school’s aid office for the specifics.
What we leave out
We will not apply for you, rank programs, or promise a result. Your details stay with us and are not shared with schools, lenders, or marketers.
Semestelo is a brand of The Nelson M Group LLC. It is an educational website only. We are not a school, lender, scholarship service or government agency.
How we keep things accurate
Guides on Semestelo come from the editorial team at The Nelson M Group LLC, who draw on general guidance such as public resources from the U.S. Department of Education, state grant agencies and school aid offices. You will see a last-reviewed month on every guide, and each is revisited at least annually.
If a guide seems off, tell us at [email protected] (subject: “Correction”). When our summary and your own paperwork differ, your paperwork is right.
